Whether, when, and to whom?: Disclosure comfort among people in recovery from alcohol and other drug use problems

We explored comfort with disclosing a history of an alcohol or other drug problem among a nationally-representative sample of people in recovery. Participants were more comfortable disclosing after more time had passed since they resolved their alcohol or other drug problem, to family and friends, and if they had resolved a problem with alcohol versus opioids. See our field report for more details.
